Antisemitic incidents in the U.S. reached an all-time high last year with a total of 3,697 incidents of assault, harassment and vandalism tracked by ADL’s Audit of Antisemitic Incidents. This represents the largest number of incidents against Jews in the U.S., recorded by ADL since 1979.

ADL’s Antisemitic Attitudes in America survey found that 20 percent of Americans believe six or more anti-Jewish tropes, nearly doubling the antisemitic prejudice found in 2019 and the highest level in three decades.

Antisemitic incidents reported to ADL reached an all-time high of 2,717 in the United States last year – an average of more than seven incidents per day and a 34 percent increase year over year, including assaults, harassment and vandalism. This is the highest number on record since ADL began tracking antisemitic incidents in 1979.
